Weather

Unfortunately, Saltwater Excursions has been sitting on the dock for most of this week. Gales have been pounding the Prince William Sound Area. We were able to get out on the water on the 6th of August, but were shut down on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and now the 9th.

The 6th proved to be somewhat fruitful. We pulled in a handful of halibut with the largest one being 43 pounds. We also pulled in a 50 inch Lingcod (guessing the weight to be around 45 pounds). A variety of rockfish as well as kelp greenling were brought in that day as well.

We are hoping that the weather improves for next week.

Hopefully these storms brought our silver in to the sound.
