RQE passes both the House and the Senate

Good News on the Whittier Alaska Fishing Charter Front.

The bill has passed both the house and the senate and is sitting on Trump’s desk to sign.  The Bill forms what is called a Recreational Quota Entity (RQE) which will allow the sport charter fleet to purchase Individual Fishing Quotas (IFQ) from the Commercial Fishing Fleet.  Once the IFQS are purchased, Sport Charters will be allowed hopefully to purchase shares to hopefully get us back to a two fish of any size 7 days a week.  Fingers crossed my friends.
