Now offering limited number of Shrimping and Glacier Tours
Saltwater Excursions is now offering a limited number of Shrimping/Glacier Tours this summer. They will start Wednesday April 18th and will continue through September 12th. The dates available are every Wednesday and Tuesdays from July 10 – August 14.
You will drop the shrimp pots at the beginning of the tour. We will then head down Blackstone Bay to view the massive tidal water glaciers calving off into the ocean. Kittiwakes, Dahl’s porpoise, humpback whales, orcas, sea lions and sea otters are just some of the wildlife that we may encounter on our cruise out to the glaciers.
On the way home from the glaciers we will stop off and pull the shrimp pots. You will be amazed at the size of the spot prawns that come out of Prince William Sound.
You must have fishing license and a FREE shrimp permit to participate in the shrimping portion of the trip. These may be obtained on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Website. Must have a minimum of 4.
Call now as space is limited. 907-360-7975
