Fishing Report Week of May 26th

Saltwater Excursions fished 4 days the last week of May.

May 26th we limited the boat out; however, the fish were small. We had a great group of college kids on the boat from the Colorado School of Mining. I must say….they were a blast! BOX!

May 27th we had a crew day out on the water. It was clear by the end of the day that the women completely out-fished the men. We pulled in some nice halibut falling in the 20 pound range.

May 28th we had three sets of Father/Son teams on board the boat. We came home with 10 halibut. Most of the fish fell in the 15-20 pound range. We ended the trip with a little stop to a large yelloweye hole. Mr. “Boston” pulled in one of the nicest yelloweye I have seen out of Prince William Sound.

May 29th…we got into some descent size fish. One of our fish fell into the mid-40s category and several fell into the mid-30’s category. The boat was limited out by 2:30 in the afternoon.

Things are booking up fast and if you haven’t booked now, you might want to do so soon. The only full boat charter left in June is on June 30th and the only full boat charter left in July is July 9th. We do have spots scattered throughout (1-4 people), but if you need the full boat, those are your only two options until August 18th.

We are currently booked full until June 9th.
