Come see Prince William Sound like never before.

Breathtaking Landscape! – Embrace the beauty of nature as we soar over the Chugach National Forest, the second largest forest in the United States. The Whittier Airport is located as the head of Passage Canal, the gateway to Prince William Sound. Glaciated mountain peaks surround this rocky crystal clear fjord.

Glaciers and Wildlife! – Come see massive tidal water glaciers calve into the ocean creating a thunder of falling ice.  Sea otters, bears, seals, whales, eagles and mountain goats are just some of the wildlife we may encounter on this magical journey.

The “FALCON” – Our Enstrom “Falcon” F-28F helicopter is nicknamed for it’s sleek aerodynamic styling. It seats three passengers and has a turbocharged Textron Lycoming engine. The turbocharged engine gives this helicopter outstanding high altitude performance. Enstrom’s reputation for safety has set the standard for light helicopters.

Comfortable noise cancelling headsets will be provided for all passengers, which allow for conversations with the pilot while cancelling out any noise from the engine.

Remember to bring your sunglasses, camera or GoPro.

I (Kristen Labrecque) have been a pilot for 16 years.  I started my career flying fixed wing aircraft in remote areas of Alaska.  Six years into my career I decided I would like to start flying rotor wing helicopters.  With a little help from the Whirly Girls by means of a very generous scholarship, I was able to make that dream come true.  I completed my training and was hired on by Evergreen Helicopters, Inc. (now Erickson, Inc.) which was based out of McMinnville, Oregon.  I spent the next 4 years flying in the Gulf of Mexico out to the platforms, flying high altitude seismic work in the Rocky Mountains, and flying medevac for the US Army in northern Alaska at Fort Wainwright and Fort Greely.

Jeff Freeman, our jack of all trades is not only a licensed Master on the Saltwater Addiction, but he too is also a commercial helicopter pilot.  In addition, Jeff is also a Certified Flight Instructor and currently working on his CFI- Instrument Rating.

We hope that you take some time to visit us out at the Whittier Airport. Again, flights will be departing daily.  We look forward to seeing you!
