Join Captain Kristen Labrecque as we cruise the crystal-clear waters of Alaska’s sounds and inlets. View glacier-capped mountains and teeming wildlife while enjoying world-class fishing in Alaska’s rich waters. Safety is her number one priority!

Captain Clay Finnegan

Clay grew up on a farm in Indiana. Clay graduated from Vincennes University with an associates’s degree in fire science and conservation law enforcement. The adventures and great outdoors brought him to the north country! He has previously worked on fire crews and has spent a summer as a wilderness adventure guide in Alaska. In his spare time, Clay enjoys hunting, fly fishing, canoeing, camping, and riding his motorcycle; however, he is still in search of that 40″ ram and 30″ rainbow!!!

Deckhand Nick Parker

Nick grew up in Rhode Island and joined the Air Force right out of high school. After his military commitment was completed, he drove the highway to our great state of Alaska. Since 2007, Nick has worked for a few different seismic and oil/gas exploration companies helping to grow Alaska’s economy.  Nick also graduated from Alaska Career College in 2015 because what else would a 6’2, 280lb burly looking guy do from Alaska other than became a licensed massage therapist? Nick is excited to come work for Saltwater Excursions. This will be his first time as a deck hand on a fishing charter vessel so there is no need to be easy on him.  He loves working hard and helping others any way he can at the drop of a lure.

Deckhand Karl Chaudhary

Having lived in Alaska all his life, Karl grew up exploring the waters of Southeast Alaska. Karl’s previous work experience ranges from two seasons as a guide on a zipline operation to working as a deckhand on commercial fishing vessels out of Wrangell and Juneau. Currently, he holds a commercial pilot certificate and graduated with a degree in Aviation Technology with an emphasis in professional piloting from the University of Alaska Anchorage. You might also run into Karl if you fly Horizon Airlines up to Alaska on your summer vacation! Congratulations to Karl on his new position at Horizon!

Saltwater Addiction

The Saltwater Addiction is a 26 ft Offshore Duckworth with an extended transom.  It is a 2011 model powered by twin Yamaha 150 HP outboard engines.  Included is a private marine head, a heated cabin, Wallas diesel stove, and a cuddy cabin with a place to lie down.  We use only the best fishing gear: AVET REELS, G LOOMIS RODS, FINS FISHING LINE and of course KODIAK CUSTOM TACKLE!
