171 pound halibut for Brian Vacca

After two days of sitting on the sidelines, we were able to get out on the 29th of August. Brian Vacca landed his once in a lifetime Pacific Halibut. His 11th hour pacific halibut weighed in at 171 pounds!

August 30th the tides were starting to really get ripping. The haul that day was marginal. We did catch a couple of lingcod, 7 halibut, 8 rockfish of different sorts (china, yelloweye, black rockfish etc) and one beautiful silver salmon (coho) that Whitney Schroeder from Wisconsin worked hard for.

Back to sitting on the sidelines. We have been weathered out now for the past 4 days. Stay tuned for more updates from Prince William Sound
