What clothing should I bring?

In Alaska, the key to staying warm and dry is layers! Leave your cotton clothes at home and bring synthetic fiber clothing. Make sure to pack rain gear even if it is sunny when you leave. Bring tops and bottoms for rain gear and long underwear (yes, even in the summer). For footwear, we would suggest a good pair of rubber boots with wool or synthetic socks and sock liners. If you don’t have any rubber boots, a good pair of hiking boots will do fine.
