Captain Kristen Labrecque
Kristen has been living in Alaska for over 18 years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Statistics and did graduate work in Bio-Statistics at the University of Minnesota. She holds a Master’s License with the United States Coast Guard and has over 37 years of boating experience. Her experience ranges from small 6-pack vessels to large ocean-class vessels within the Alaska Marine Highway System. Kristen is also a licensed Airline Transport Pilot and a licensed Flight Instructor in both Helicopters and Airplanes. Prior to starting Saltwater Excursions, Kristen flew Contract Helicopters for the US ARMY, flying Medevac missions in remote areas of Northern Alaska.

This winter Kristen can be found down at Lake Hood Seaplane Base flying for the Alaska State Troopers!
Captain Clay Finnegan
Clay grew up on a farm in Indiana. Clay graduated from Vincennes University with an associates’s degree in fire science and conservation law enforcement. The adventures and great outdoors brought him to the north country! He has previously worked on fire crews and has spent a summer as a wilderness adventure guide in Alaska. In his spare time, Clay enjoys hunting, fly fishing, canoeing, camping, and riding his motorcycle; however, he is still in search of that 40″ ram and 30″ rainbow!!!
Deckhand Clint Sejkora
Clint grew up on a farm in Nebraska, where he could always be found exploring the wilderness. Clint graduated college from Peru State College, in Nebraska, with a bachelors in marketing. Before his college graduation ceremony, Clint moved to Alaska to start a new chapter in his life. Since moving to Alaska, Clint has gold mined, conducted fishery studies, and continues to hunt as an assistant guide in the Bristol Bay area.
Deckhand Karl Chaudhary
Having lived in Alaska all his life, Karl grew up exploring the waters of Southeast Alaska. Karl’s previous work experience ranges from two seasons as a guide on a zipline operation to working as a deckhand on commercial fishing vessels out of Wrangell and Juneau. Currently, he holds a commercial pilot certificate and graduated with a degree in Aviation Technology with an emphasis in professional piloting from the University of Alaska Anchorage. You might also run into Karl if you fly Horizon Airlines up to Alaska on your summer vacation! Congratulations to Karl on his new position at Horizon!
The Saltwater Addiction is a 26 ft Offshore Duckworth with an extended transom. It is a 2011 model powered by twin Yamaha 150 HP outboard engines. Included is a private marine head, a heated cabin, Wallas diesel stove, and a cuddy cabin with a place to lie down. We use only the best fishing gear: AVET REELS, G LOOMIS RODS and of course KODIAK CUSTOM TACKLE!
