CAPTAIN KRISTEN LABRECQUE
Kristen has been living in Alaska for over 12 years. She holds a Master’s License with the United States Coast Guard and has over 33 years of boating experience. Kristen is also a licensed Airline Transport Pilot and a licensed Flight Instructor in both Helicopters and Multi-Engine Airplanes. Prior to starting Saltwater Excursions, Kristen flew Contract Helicopters for the US ARMY, flying Medevac missions in remote areas of Northern Alaska.

CAPTAIN BRAD BETHARDS
Brad holds a Master’s License with the U.S. Coast Guard and graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, receiving his degree in Recreation Management with a concentration in Commercial Recreation and Tourism. In addition, Brad also earned an Associate’s degree in Culinary Technology from Central Piedmont College in Charlotte, NC. Prior to working for Saltwater Excursions, Brad worked for a charter company in Seward, Alaska for two seasons as both a deckhand and an experienced sea kayak and wildlife tour guide. He is an avid outdoorsman and mountaineer. During the offseason Brad spends his time fly fishing, hunting and snowboarding in Alaska. Brad’s experience and enthusiasm will ensure the trips will be safe, informative and fun!!
THE VESSEL
The Saltwater Addiction is a 26 ft Offshore Duckworth with an extended transom. It is a 2011 model powered by twin Yamaha 150 HP outboard engines. Included is a private marine head, a heated cabin, Wallas diesel stove, and a cuddy cabin with a place to lie down. We use only the best fishing gear: AVET REELS, G LOOMIS RODS and of course KODIAK CUSTOM TACKLE!
